Sizes:

• Size 0: Newborn (before 40 weeks gestation)
• Size 1: 0–3 months
• Size 2: 3–6 months

The knitting instructions are designed for a specific gauge. It is important to match the given gauge.

Gauge:

10 cm = 24 stitches in stockinette stitch worked in the round, after wet blocking
(4 inches ≈ 24 stitches)

Materials needed:

• Circular needles that match your gauge. The sample was knit using 2.75 mm (US 2) and 3.25 mm (US 3) needles (with a cable approx. 45 cm (16–18 in) long). If you don’t have
  these sizes, try 3 mm (US 2.5) or 3.5 mm (US 4) needles – remember, everyone’s tension
  is different.
• Tapestry needle
• Crochet hook (approx. 4 mm (US G/6))
• 3 stitch markers
• Yarn: Drops Merino Extra Fine (50 g / 105 m / 115 yd) or similar yardage
• Row counter (optional)
• Scissors
• Measuring tape
